Will a iphone sock care thing provide much protection for the screen if it falls

That really depends on the sock. And the distance of the fall. And how it lands. And whether your little brother then jumps up and down on it after dropping it on the floor.

Considering there is no sock on it while your speaking on it if it were o fall it would crack in that case it only offers protection in the pocket , would a screen protector be good enough to stop scratche to the screen .
