I have a 1st gen iPhone and need to rip the music off of it because my iTunes library was deleted. I was wondering what software out there (free or not, preferably free) I could use to transfer the data (mainly music) back to my PC. If it's something I have to purchase, I would rather it be both Windows and OSX compatable. So any recommendationsa of the best software would be greatly appreciated. :)

I haven't found anything free, but your local electronic store will have iPod managers. Tell them your issue, and they can sell you one.
