Iphone software that genuis uses.

so today i took my iphone to apple to let a goof ball look at it for my home button sticking and my battery sucking the big one.. well lets say i wasn't impressed. my home button wouldn't stick while i was in there and so he said must have worked it self out. then he told me about my battery was to restore if even though i just did 2 weeks ago with no change. so my trip was useless, except for i would like to know if i can download that software he used to diagnose my iphone. told him last time i restored and what apps were not responding and my battery time life and some other stuff i didn't get to really look at. I thought i read it on here once but i can't seem to find it again.

I would also like some kind of diagnoses tool for the iPhone, but i doubt we will get one thou.
