iphone software upgrade issues

try to upgrade software and keep getting messge to "move some items" not enuf space on your computer. no music on phone , only a handful of apps..whats the deal how do i fix this

It has nothing to do with the space on your phone; it’s the space on your COMPUTER. Delete some stuff.
