iPhone spyware/malware?

I was wondering if anyone could take a peak at the attached images and give me a clue as to what the problem is? I do not own an iPhone. These are shots that my friend sent me. I haven't the faintest idea of the context of these screenshots.

Definitely a malware: when I click on the picture, it gives my iPad the WSOD.
