iPhone storage help!

I have an iPhone 5s (I know, I know it's old) w/ 32 GB. It's been getting very full lately and I've been trying to clear space on it. When I'm checking the storage on my phone it says it's down to 800MB, but when I plug it into my computer, it says I have 4.3 GB on it... Why is this happening???

Have you tried hard resetting your 5s?

A factory reset may free up some space too by clearing bits left over by deleted apps etc. Obviously do a full back up first though.

If you can't be bothered with a factory reset, free software called iMyFone Umate does a pretty good job of freeing up storage space.
