Hey MacRumors,
My iPhone 4S (iOS 8.0.2) is somehow messed up. It happened when I unchecked "Sync Music" in iTunes to fix the missing cover art issue that was introduced with iOS 8. The idea was to delete all of the songs and re-sync them to get the cover art back onto the phone.
It synced correctly as it should have and thus seemingly deleted all of the music from my iPhone, but it didn't free up the space.
iTunes now shows the deleted music as "Other" and the usage statistics (Settings>General>Usage) on the phone don't recognise the freed-up space either!?
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.
