My I-phone 3G is is stuck at the boot screen, it is going to the Apple screen staying on for about 30 seconds then shutting off. I have tried putting it in DFU mode and recovery it does not stay on at all if I unplug it from the computer. The USB doesn't reconize it and the iTunes does not see it. Is there anything I can do?

DFU mode has the iPhone connected to the computer. See my sig for how to do it correctly.

Yes it was water damaged..and i've already tried your sig..that is only for IPhones that are on the springboard, I'm stuck on the boot Logo, I have Win 7 as well

really? well i cant get it into DFU the screen shuts of in less time but the computer still does not recognize it.

I got it into Restore mode now I've got error 23 which I remember means the logic board is dead. Hardware Failure :/
