iphone stuck in itunes mode please help me!!!

My iphone 3gs is stuck in itunes mode is it fixable I tried a lot
And it hasn't changed from the emergency call ononly screen
I went to two at&t stores and they said they seen Nothing like it. I have a sim card in it and itz not finding it. Idc about the sim I just want the phone back to its main menue and on.

Plug your phone into your computer...Hold the power and home button till it reboots wen u see the apple logo let go of the power button but continue to hold the home button.

This will put the phone into dfu mode.

Now you have two options restore with iTunes or leave it sitting there and it'll eventually time out and reboot.
