iPhone stuck in recovery mode

Hi

I've got a 3GS which was 3.1.3. I had to restore because a few apps wouldnt load properly. When I restore and it finishes it comes up with the itunes & cable screen and iTunes says its in recovery mode (error 1015) and i must restore it - again.

I've tried a couple of things including irecovery but my PC is a win7 64bit system and it kind of killed off all my USB ports. I've tried on a Vista Machine and also tried on iTunes 9.1 and the new Beta.

Will Apple sort it out? Will they send it off or replace it if they cant get it working again? It's only got a few days left on the warranty

Terminal is for the Mac.

Oh right. I should have mentioned... I'm a PC.

I have an appointment with the genius on Sunday, do they have specialist software or will they ship it off for repair or replace?

I've tried on 3 PC's. Two Win7 x64 and one Vista x86 machine. Tried with 9.1 and 9.2 iTunes. Says the same on both.

Yeah, I realized you were on a PC after. Do you know anyone with a Mac?

At any rate, it’s good you’re still under warranty.
