well I am sooooo stuck at the moment! with my iphone 2g
the only firmware that seems to want to do anything is a custom firware 2.0.2 when I install this i can go in the phone but no wifi......and simlocked
whenever i use the pawnage it wil install but when the phone reboots after the pawnagee install it starts up bootneuter 2.0 but freezes everytime and there is nothing I can do just power and home+button when I restart it just shows the apple logo

Ok now I hear you thinking just update to 3.0 or 3.1.2 but whenever I want to use other firmware I get the itunes error 23 or 1600......
