my iphone was not working

i opened it and saw the cables were unplugged

plugged them, and got the battery and lightning bolt when i started to charge it w the ps3

so i thought it was working.

but it does not budge from there.

i cant turn it on by pressing any buttons, and i only get the red batt. and bolt when i plug it in

ive taken it apart down to the batt. and put it back together. still stuck on that.

can it be the batt?
can it be the home button?
can it be anything im missing??

thanks

That means the battery is too low ... leave it plugged in for at least 30 min.

no thats not the problem at all... i left it for days an days on the laptop

noooowwwwww

i bought a new battery from amazon.com, with tools an all.

and now the phone does not turn on at all, no charge, no battery no icon, no nothing.

dont understand these phones!@#!#%$#^@$

dont buy parts on amazon....they are junk and most of the time are dead parts. the major supplier on amazon and ebay is zeetron and they sell counterfit apple parts.

it could be your dock connector on your phone. also, dont charge it with the pc3. use the wall block or a pc/mac. hopefully you didnt do any damage in replacing the battery. but it really sounds like it is your battery.

The batter probably met it's natural fate and is now in the junkyard in the sky... or the landfill in Davis, CA. But anyways you shouldn't have tried to replace the parts if you weren't 110% positive you knew what you were doing, and knew a reputable parts dealer. Probably the only thing to do is buy a new one.
