iPhone-style word prediction software on a Mac?

I'm trying to persuade my sister to get a Mac. However, because of a disability she types very slowly, and needs to use word prediction software whenever she types. The iPhone's software works great, so I was wondering if Apple made that software available for use on a Mac.
