Hi,

my temporary iPhone X died yesterday when it was charging on my QI plug while I've been texting in WhatsApp Web. Suddenly a message appeared that I'm not connected to my Phone which was next to me. I just too a short look and tapped the display - nothing!

Ok I took it up, tried to play with the power button - still nothing. Ok, tried hard reboot (up, down, hold power), tried to get into recovery or DFU mode. Nothing happens... Not present on a connection to my Mac. Charging over night via cable didn't change anything in that way...

The phone was very hot at the moment it died, wether nothing changed on charging, recovery and DFU modes, nor the display would get activated in any ways, I think the CPU died duo to overheating? I don't have any further ideas except of accepting that it's broken, now.

Bad point in time, the X should be my temporary phone till the 12 arrives. Obtaining the 11 Pro will make me sad in when the 12 is released. Another X for just a few month is even as a second hand model a money breaker. Glad that the Watch still works autonom via Cell and can still use unlock my Mac etc.
