Iphone suddenly shuffling my songs

Ok, here's a weird one for me.
I have various playlists and its that suddenly the music on them are being shuffled randomly. I don't think I made any changes to the playlists in itunes or on the iPhone.

Any idea what this could be?

btw, I made sure the shake on suffle setting was turned off and I rebooted the phone as well.

I'm experiencing this as well, but I'm sick of my playlists, so I'm liking it

turn off shake to shuffle and see if this still happens.

go to settings->ipod->shake to shuffle

Is your regular shuffle on? If you don't know how to change that, you tap above the bottom "bar" while in the Now Playing screen, in the lower left corner of the Album Artwork screen. It should bring up a bar on the top with Shuffle, Repeat, Genius buttons, as well as the song length scroller.

That was it thanks. Who knew you can have a shuffle setting buried like that. I know I never turned that on. Very unapple to something like that buried

I agree - very poor user interface. I also turned shuffle on by accident once - very annoying and confusing. That tiny blue shuffle icon thingy is almost invisible - especially when you don't even know what it is (or that it's even there).
