Ddoes anyone know what the upside down phone receiver with 4 dots underneath it, and 3 dots under that means? It appeared yesterday right next to the battery indicator in the top right corner of my iPhone- and I can't figure it out!

That is the TTY symbol for using it to communicate with the deaf. It is turned on and off through Settings>Phone>TTY. Somehow it got turned on, all you need to do is turn it off. Hope that helps.
