Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone could offer me any advice, as I am a bit stumped!

I had my MacBook Pro stolen, and have just got a new machine and have put everything over from a backup from the old computer before it was stolen.

Now, the backup is about 5 months old, and now when I hook up my iPhone to the new computer it is obviously giving me the message that my iPhone is synced to another computer, and is giving me the option of either setting up the phone as a new iPhone, or restoring it from a 5 month old backup (last backed up on 08/05/2009)...

Now, I have 5 months worth of contacts and text messages on the iPhone that I really don't want to lose. Is there any way to go about this?

Does anyone have any pointers for me?

Thanks for your help!

Colin
