iPhone Sync limited to pictures.

iPhone Sync problem.
When I try to sync the iPhone, my Canon Zoom Browser window opens. I'm able to download pictures from the phone but that is all.
How do I access the other features on the phone?

Only through iTunes, unless it is jailbroken.
