So last week I had my hard drive wiped and I recently decided to put some songs onto my iPhone. I downloaded the songs I wanted, went to iTunes, but when I clicked onto my iPhone from the little devices sub-menu sort of thing,a and went to check off the box titled "Manually manage music and video", my computer wouldn't allow me to apply settings without restoring my phone. It says that my iPhone is already synced with another iTunes library.
I'd like to believe that there is another way to make it so when someone gets a new computer, new hard drive, or has a problem like mine, that one wouldn't have to reset one's iPhone every time.
So my main question is:
How can I sync my iPhone with my library without having to restore it? And if it is restored, will that erase everything on my phone? [Apps, Photos, Videos]
Please help.
If it helps, my computer is running Mac OS X Version 10.5.8, it's an older MacBook (around 3 or 4 years), and my iPhone has software version 3.1.2, and my iTunes is version 10.
Thank you so much.
