hi recently got a new laptop and i want to use my iphone with it but my iphone is already synced with my destop if i transfer my library from the destop to the laptop will it sync without restoring?
:apple: any info would be great

ps:itunes 10 on both pc's-win xp to win 7

If you plug your iPhone into your new PC and load up iTunes, then click File and then Transfer Purcahsed files from iPod (or something like that), then all of your apps should sync over. Then, like you said, so long as you have all of the same media in the iTunes library as you did on the old PC, then it should all stay the same on the phone without needing to restore.

but one prob i tryed to transfer per... but some apps i had my friend download with his account and i need to autorize it to transfer 33 of the 88 apps but i dont know his password

Ah that's a good point actually. I forgot to say that you will need to authorize your new PC as well. That means authorising your own iTunes account, and your friends. You won't be able to sync it properly until you have his account authorised on your PC unfortunately.

and it got worse

i tryed to transfer the library from the old pc to the new one but i cant so i tryed that library id code and it also didnt work...WTF

Ok, ignoring the library ID code for the time being, in what way will it not let you transfer the library to the PC?

Do you mean it won't be added to iTunes? Or will the files not copy onto the new PC? How are you trying to transfer it?
