Hello

I have a new iPhone and it is my first bit of apple kit. My girlfriend has an iTunes account as she already has an iPhone. When I plug my iPhone into her iTunes account it thinks the iPhone is hers and wipes off all of my contacts and replaces them with hers.

Is there any way I can plug my iPhone into her iTunes and make it recognise that it is a different iPhone?

Thanks very much

Turn off automatic sync in iTunes. Go under iTunes>Preferences >Devices. Check box that says' Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from synching automatically.
Other option is to swipe on your phone the dialogue that says 'Slide to Cancel' as you plug in your iPhone and it says 'Sync in Progress'
Good luck
