When I try and sync my 32GB iPhone 3GS, I get an error saying that it can't sync because it's too full and can't copy over the songs. When I look at the bar graph displaying disk space, the problem seems to be that there are 13.11GB of "Other" data on the iphone. I don't have many apps and none of them use any large amounts of disk space, so I think this "Other" column was from a previous attempt to add all 20GB of my music that got cancelled before it was completed.
Is there any way to clear out this "other" column? I can't update any new music until I get this issue cleared up and I really don't want to have to reset the iPhone then restore it to a previous state, just to clear this data. Any ideas?
