I have a question about hyperlinks in messages.

I have written a server monitoring application that sends out text messages to people on call with a hyperlink. The message looks like this:

(Server Alert) https://www.ourserver.com/alert.php?alert=8543492

The person who receives the text message can tap the link which launches a browser and read the alert.

Our staff has a wide variety of phones including Apple, Android, Microsoft and I think one BB. Out of 20 different phones I have two iPhones where this link doesn't work.

I have one person with an iPhone 6s and another with a 4s that when they tap on the message, it opens Safari, goes to the site but drops everything after .com.

So Safari gets this:

https://www.ourserver.com

instead of this:

https://www.ourserver.com/alert.php?alert=8543492

Obviously, this doesn't work.

I have an iPhone 4, 4s, and a 5s and they work perfectly every time. All the iPhones are running the latest iOS (9.2.1) across the board for everyone.

I am unsure if Messages is not passing everything after .com or if Safari is dropping everything after .com.

I have looked through the settings for Messages, Safari, and General and they seem ok.

Am I missing something?

The other brands and models of phones work great, so I'm stumped.

Thanks,
-P
