iPhone that turns itself on after 5 Min.

So, I have had my iPhone for 3 days, and am currently travelling across country with it. For the most part ,'so far so good'.
However, it seems to like turning itself on every 5 min. At the momment I have the AT&T pay as u go service. Everytime it turns itself on it has the pay as u go Dimiss/minutes window on.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?...or should I take it into the next Mac store I meet in my travels?
