The Plantronics "925" and "520" both pair perfectly with the iPhone ("original"), however, when using one of these headsets, if I touch the back of the phone there is a lot of static. When I put the headsets on my left ear and the iPhone in the leather holster on my belt...right side...there is so much static that I cannot hear anyone talking. If I put the phone on a desk, about 3 feet from the headset in my left ear, and do not touch the phone, it works great. I had a Jawbone Model 1, which did not have this problem, but I could not get it to fit comfortably. I called Plantronics & was told that they were unaware of this problem. Questions: has anyone else had a similar problem? Because I really like the fit of the 925, does the 925 work correctly on the iPhone 3g? (do I need to buy a 3g with its plastic back to use the 925?). I would prefer to keep my present iPhone. Additional facts: due to limited hearing in my right ear, I have to use the bluetooth headset in my left ear & because I am right handed, I need to wear the holster on the right side of my belt. Thank you in advance. Bill
