hey,

Every few minutes my iPhone brings up the warning message "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone...."

even though it is no longer connected to any accessory. It was caused by my car stereo connector, which worked perfectly for about a year, but after a long road trip with lots of connecting and disconnecting my iPhone seems to have become permanently confused.

I've cleaned the contacts, restarted the phone, reflashed the phone.
It's jailbroken and I'm in Australia where the 2.5G phone was never released, so I can't send it away for repairs.

Any other ideas? I'm thinking of replacing the dock connector with this:

I'm not too scared because i'm expecting to get a new phone soon!!! :D
