iPhone Timer Not Going Off.

It's been spotty at best. I use my timer all the time for various tasks and when it goes off at the chosen time, it's a great thing. Most of the time though, it does not go off at all. This seriously irritates me. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I know I can't be the only one.
