Iphone to Apple TV by AirPlay sounding better

When connecting the Sennheiser HD 4.40 headphone directly to Apple TV via Bluetooth, the sound is ok.

But when using iPhone to stream by AirPlay to Apple TV and then on the Headphone the sound is excellent with high volume and good bass.

What witchcraft is this, because the final audio output continues by BT, but starting by AirPlay improves absurdly.
