Hey everyone, I just had a quick question. Has anyone considered whether the iPhone could be used to connect a laptop via EDGE? Cingular states that EDGE enabled phones with Bluetooth can be used to connect a computer to the internet without WiFi. So in my mind, this means that anywhere there is an EDGE network, your Mac (or PC) can be online without the need for an ethernet or WiFi connection. Just my thoughts, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I would have to imagine using a laptop on edge would be excruciating. I think ATT shut down their 2g network. T Mobile still has theirs up and running but I have read at a reduced capacity.
