I have a HD component cable to connect my iPhone 3GS to my HDTV. I am wondering what the quality of the movies are from the iTunes store are? I played some of the music videos I have and they are pretty grainy on the TV. I've heard that the iPhone can handle 1080p videos, how would I get those in iTunes and onto my iPhone to play on my TV?

Thanks!

That's not correct. The iPhone will not play any HD resolutions.

Your answer is here:

That said, the iTunes movies look 'pretty good.' If DVD quality is 100% and VHS is 25% I'd place the iTunes SD movies at 90%. You can sort of tell it's not a DVD, but it's not all that noticeable.

Thanks for the correction and information!
