I noticed that when I log-in to iChat, occasionally my boyfriend's iPhone shows up as having a camera or audio chat capabilities and was wondering if there's a way to conduct an iPhone to iChat video or audio chat?

We've tried getting it to work a few times by initiating through iChat, but the request does not go through. It seems like it should be possible, as there is a camera and mic, but since there's no option on Beejive or Trillian, is it?

Thanks!

Not via iChat but you can host a live feed from your iPhone to the internet via Qik. With the 3.0 update this summer, you will be able to send audio files via MMS and you can MMS someone you are talking to via SMS gateway (from SMS to IM account).

Thank you!
We'll try that out when it becomes available.
