Ok, so I'm a little slow with all of this! First, i purchased my ipod from someone else. Didn't buy it at a store. I then, purchased an iphone. Thought it was a great idea, right. I then find out that since the ipod is synced to another computer that I cannot transfer the music from the ipod to the iphone. There's got to be a way around this! Please help me, I'm lost in the Apple world.

You cannot sync music from one iOS device to another, but what you can do is sync both devices with the same PC/Mac.
Put all your music in iTunes (if you haven't done this already) and sync both your iPhone and iPod with your iTunes music library.
