iPhone took 10 hours to charge instead of 1-2

I got a new iPhone 5s in January and recently I lost the wall charger that came with my phone so I used another one I had lying around the house. but it took 10 hours for my phone to get to 98%. is it the charger that's not working? I also plug my phone into the computer sometimes to charge, does that mess the phone as well?

What charger did you use? Was it an Apple charger for an iPhone?

If the problem suddenly started when you use this new charger--its probably the charger.

Charging from your computer will have no ill-effect on it. Charging from an unknown wall charger will not always work as intended, hence your case.

I would see if it charges faster plugged in the computer. If it does, then I feel it was just the wall charger you were using.
