iPhone trade-in in Apple retail stores

Hey,
I might be visiting the USA soon and I don't know how things go there, and I have no idea how to check it so I came here to ask.
If I go to an Apple retail store, say the Fifth Avenue one in NY, can I get credit for my old iPhone? Like give them my iPhone 5s (very good condition) and get store credit for it to buy 6s?
If so, how much will they give me for the iPhone 5s 16gb, after the 6s will be released (two models behind)?
