i recently purchased an unlocked iphone the only supports the tri=band frequency. gsm 900 1800 1900. I live in new jersey and am wondering will this be an issue. I currently have the blackberry pearl with t=mobile and am hoping to transfer my sim card. The service with the pearl is decent no complaints there but i just hope that a tri=band will give me some satisfaction. Any advice will be appreciated thank you

There's only one variant of the current (EDGE) iPhone. They're all quad-band, and they all work on T-Mobile USA's network for both voice and data, assuming they've been unlocked and activated. None of them are tri-band GSM... unless you bought a fake iPhone. Then all bets are off, of course.
