wow that is nuts $300......
I love my iPhone and love having a video camera "onboard", but if im going to carry a mount and a tripod, heck i'll just grab my flip UltraHD ($150) and it's HD and the quality "blows" the iphone video away..... (or for great quality i'll grab my canon hv30 miniDV)

I guess for $70 Samurai's could be a good solution..... neat idea.....
