Hi Guys, I'm a little late to twitter, but I recently just signed up. I was thinking of following macrumors and having the tweets pushed to my iphone instead of my always refreshing this page.

Anyway, I downloaded the official twitter application I don't see an option for push notifications. Is what I'm trying to do even possible or do I need another app?

Thanks

I use Boxcar to push twitter messages, and have found it to be OK.
It was a paid app when I bought it. It is free now, but with ads, and you can pay to remove the ads from what I understand...

I use tweet push.... Very reliable works well easy to setup and really fast only downside 99cents a month!! I've used a couple off other apps but none was as fast and reliable as tweet push!! I rather pay 99 cents a month and have good service instead of paying one fee because everyone uses it and the server gets saturated... Just my opinion!! I heard great things about boxcar too...
