iPhone typing - People still have problems with this?!

I read that article on the main page, and one of the points was that it was hard to type on? Is this for real? It took me about an hour to get used to it, and now I can type around 50+ words a minute on it. I type far faster on this, than on my previous qwerty blackberry with actual buttons. My only gripe about this phone the ENTIRE time, was the lack of a chat program. Since jailbreak, its clearly the best phone on the market.

I was proficient with its typing after a couple of days. I find the automatic text to be the most idiotic part of the phone. The substitutions provided never fail to blow my mind.

there is an apptapp program you can get to disable auto correct.
