5am, can't sleep.
Off to the O2 store now just to be on the safe side.
The shambles of Mondays online launch long forgotten.
Anyone joining me!!??
 
Northwich, Cheshire. No didn't ring, but expect them to definately have some stock. Rang one cpw store and they had a dozen 8gb and 3 16gb.
 
****, only 3? Eeek.

I am awake but dazed. Cannot believe it but I couldnt sleep, like a kid at XMAS! I am in Reading.

I actually have an order from the online debacle. They rung at 17:30 yesterday to tell me I was 'unlucky' and wont get it til next Friday. I asked if I could go to a store this morning. The guy wasnt sure as I technically have a 'pending' upgrade on my account. but I think that if I have one in my hands they cannot stop me buying it.
 
I'm off to the Preston store in an hour. I'm starved, but not hungry :D Buying into a new contract. Just paid £100 to cancel my T-mobile contract yesterday!
 
Good luck with that, glad now I didn't manage to get an order through.
I am now convinced the whole thing was a scam to try to ramp up the hype. As far as I can see it hasn't worked, there is hardly a mention of the launch in the UK mainstream media, have looked on the BBC www this morning and there is no sign of it.
I am sure it is just nutters like ourselves who are aware that any of this is happening!!
 
Saw a cracking post on the apple discussion boards last night which went along the lines of

Wait for the first post later today which says:
Bought this 3 g iphone, can't believe it doesn't do cut and paste, mms etc etc
!!!
Some of our US cousind didn't get the irony and took it as a serious post, the guy got some ****!!!
 
I'm still fingers crossed that todays deliveries will include some white iPhone 3G's. I rang 2 o2 stores yesterday and both said they had v. limited stock, but are recieving another delivery this am.

So! It's probably a mahoooooosive delivery. That's my idea. *rambles more bullsh*t at 5.19am*

yup.. me too..

called my o2 store last night and they wouldnt disclose any numbers on stock levels..

i said i wanted the 16gb and they said they haven't got many.. i asked if that meant 5, 10, 50.. but they wouldnt say :(

peeves me off.. i only want an indication really so i'm not wasting my frigging time

anyway.. bus is in 20 mins so i should be there just before 6am.. hopefully i'll be the first, but knowing my luck there will be 5 others al wanting 16gb's and when my turn comes they'll all be out of stock!! lol
 
I'm resisting the urge to go to 02 or CPW because I want the white one. But i don't know if i can -- wait! Anybody in the same situation?
 
Left the house at 5:15 this morning with my laptop bag. Felt like a right sad b4st4rd! :) I could almost hear a Victoria Wood-esque voice over as I went to get the bus into town. LOL
 
sitting outside the bluewater apple store, the staff are all turning up and its all behind ablack curtain. A staff member just confirmed opening at 8.02! And I'm front of the queue!

well i'm just about to head off to go to the Dewsbury store...
i'm doubtful there will be a queue by the time i get there....

lol im soo glad i know someone at o2 and am getting let in before they open to do my contract. i couldnt be doing with all this 5am in a que malarky! Im tired now as it is! then ive got work all day lol
