its a UK iphone running software version 1.1.2

i don't think an actual unlock has been released yet although you can hack it and install 3rd party apps, but you'll still be tied to O2.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

damn, hope there is a unlock pretty soon for T-Mobile sims, for the moment I'll use PAYG o2 sim til an unlock
