iphone unlocked 3g 3.0.1 restore back up?

Hello..
I unlocked my iphone 3g.. it was a locked 2.2.1 then after the unlock its now 3.0.1. the itunes previously backed up my iphone.. so when i connect it to itunes it tells me the iphone was previously synced and there are 2 options 1) is to act as a new phone 2) to restore the back up.
the question is if i restore the back up will it affect the unlock or the jailbreak?
