Hi so I haven't updated my iphone for the last year because I am living abroad and it can be a real pain trying to unlock it. So... Today I decided to update my iphone to the 4.2.1 software. However, now that I am doing it itunes has frozen and won't let me do anything and it looks as though my 'backing up' has either frozen or is incredibly slow... When I went to update my phone itunes told me not to stop the backing up or something (To be honest I didnt really pay much attention to it) and so now I'm a bit worried... Should I just wait for hours or is there some way for me to reset itunes... I must admit that I'm quite new to macs and this is the first time I've needed to update the iphone (it used to be my dads!) So please can somebody help... Otherwise I'm gonna be stuck here for hours xD... (oh and I did try looking this up on google.. but to no avail..) Thanks! Oh oh and when i try to update it again should I remove all the songs and apps I have? Will this make it faster and more efficient? Thankyou
