i recently updated my iphone 3g. when updating the iphone an error came up on my computer screen and my iphone was in the "slide for emergency" mode until i plugged it in to another computer where it returned to normal. all my apps and music had been deleted off my phone (as i expected) but when i plug it in to my computer itunes just says: " itunes could not connect to the iphone because an invalid response was recieved from the device." is there anyway i can get my apps and music back on to my phone and get itunes to recognise my phone??????????????????????????????

I think that may be due to your pc error, it had an error and the update was interrupted. The phone may have been corrupted due to that error during the update, but I'm not sure. And If that is the problem, forget getting apps and music back. Hope someone who had that problem may help you out more ;)

well you should have all your apps and music on your computer, so just do a DFU restore and re sync.
