Hi, just a quick question where do the previous updates of the iphone get stored? I need some space on my laptop and I take it I can delete the updates apart from the latest one?! Right? Anyway thanks a lot.

They're in ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates.

That's your local Library not the system wide one.

Can't see why you couldn't delete old ones if you find any. I'd keep the most recent.

Storage locations for updates

all update files for iPhone are stored at:

On Windows:
Documents and Settings\<User>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

On Mac:
~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
