I have a friend of a friend who can secure an iPhone for me Friday morning. The question is will I need to go in to the store to activate it or can I switch out the SIM from my old iPhone? Or better yet I thought there was some speculation that we would be able to activate through iTunes as before. Anybody know?

this has already been posted but once again you have to go to the store and activate in the store the sim switch will not work

I know this has been discussed. However it didn't become a concern to me until today. I was curious as to what the latest info was with regard to iTunes activation.

nothing has changed as of yet... still in store activation only
Thanx. I still don't know how my friend is getting the phone. She is being coy about it. I'm trying to get the info out of her. But I'm sure it's from a friend that works for ATT.
