Hi, my first post so go gentle with me.

I currently have a first generation 8gb iPhone on O2 on the £35 pm contract, or whatever it is now with the change in VAT. My contract runs till the 24th June so i can upgrade anytime now. I am wanting to upgrade to a black 16gb 3G S but like most people i am wanting to do it as cheaply as possible, or is that i'm just tight? ;)

If I change my tariff to the £45 pm contract then the iPhone is free on the 24 month contract. I usually use between 500 and 600 of my minutes per month so I doubt i would use the 1200 minutes I will get with the new tariff. So therefore my question is if i do change tariff can I then change back to the £35 pm tariff? and if so would there be any penalty for doing so?

My second question is would i be better going for a business tariff? What are the pluses of doing this?
