Hello,

I have the second generation iPhone (8G) and I pressed the existing plan to upgrade my telephone for the 4G. I am able to buy it for $199.99 dollars. The only reason I want to UPGRADE is to keep my unlimited plan. When I am choosing my plans, it doesn't state anything for family plan and when I add my unlimited plan my plan goes up to $80 monthly.

#1 I am in a family plan
#2 My voice plan is $40 and Apple states my original plan $60 (2g network +200 text) that was the plan deal.

So pretty much I am getting my $40 minutes, $20 2G Data + 200 Text, $30 3G Unlimited Data

What is going on?

I somehow got through the Apple site recently for both phones on our family plan, same situation. When I got to the final confirmation page, it says "Rate Plan - No Voice Plan Changes." Thus implying that the plan stays the same.

It is a bit confusing.
