Been in the upgrade program for a few years now. Currently have an 11 (which I got on release last year) and looking to upgrade to the 12. The monthly cost of the 12 is about $6 higher than my monthly cost of the 11. I see the Apple Card monthly is a bit lower. What are my options being in the middle of the upgrade program? Can I send phone back and be done with contract? Can I just buy it outright for the 9 or 10 months and the just trade it in? Not sure what options

No you cant just "send it back" and be done with it lol. You would have to pay off the remaining balance of the loan and then you keep the phone, and you can then sell it, etc
