Many of us who are on the Apple Upgrade Program obviously had to wait until October/November due to the late roll out in 2020. So with Apple back on track for a September roll out of this years iPhones, how do you think Apple will treat this for those of us on the upgrade plan?

Many of us typically upgrade and get them on launch day, but now we will be 1-2 months out from a full required 12 months without paying a penalty, do you think Apple will just allow launch day/time customers to upgrade without additional payments?

I would think they want to encourage us to upgrade as if many wait a couple of months, that messes up their launch numbers :)

This has happened before. The iPhone X came out in November. I always upgrade on day 1 and they didn't make us pay a penalty.
