Anybody know how the iPhone upgrade will work in 2018 if the next phone comes out in in September again when iPhone X is being delayed to November? Does this mean if I buy the iPhone X i wont be able to upgrade again next year until November?

Good question, I would assume they are going to make you wait or make an early payment so you can upgrade. Just another way to suck some more money out of people.
